Good Luck!!! More about the book... In 1987, John Robbins published Diet for a New America, which was an early version of this book, and he started the food revolution. He continues to work tirelessly to promote conscious food choices more than 20 years later. First published in 2001, The Food Revolution is still one of the most frequently cited and talked about books of the food-politics revolution. It was one of the very first books to discuss the negative health effects of eating genetically modified foods and animal products of all kinds, to expose the dangers inherent in our factory farming system, and to advocate a complete plant-based diet.

  • I was headed for metabolic syndrome.
Now I eat mostly vegetables, meat and grains.

  • Removing dairy & caseins from my kids' lives had an immediate affect on them: one slept through the night after not doing so for 5 years, the other lost her allergies that were allegedly just a consequence of "Down syndrome, nothing you can do". If food choices can change those small things, how big an impact they must have on our health and longevity!

  • Holy Crap by Starting to eat non processed foods as well as organic has made a huge difference in our lives. Juicing vegetables and fruit have boosted out immune systems 10 fold.

  • I follow the 100 miles diet. I make a point to only buy my food that has been raised/produced within a 100 mile radius from my home. This helps cuts down on pollution. I find that the food I buy within the 100 mile radius is more fresh and allows me to get all the nutrients.
