How was Holy Crap Cereal served on the Dragons' Den set?

For the Dragons' Den episode that aired on November 17, 2010 Corin Mullins prepared Holy Crap cereal for each of the Dragons to taste.

What made Boston Pizza CEO, Jim Treliving, quip, "Holy Crap... is this ever good!" and when he finished eating his reach for Robert Herjavec's bowl?

Passing out samples of Holy Crap cereal to the Dragons

Corin mixed 2 tablespoons of Holy Crap cereal with about 4 tablespoons of Vanilla Hempure. Corin and Brian had to wait almost all day before appearing in front of the Dragons. As the cereal was absorbing the Hempure, every couple of hours Corin would stir in more Vanilla Hempure to the cereal.

By the time they appeared on the set the cereal was thick, smooth and creamy.

Tip: Do want your Holy Crap cereal to have a super creamy texture? Try preparing it the night before and leaving it in the refrigerator. In the morning stir in more liquid before eating.

Or prepare a week's worth of cereal, adding more liquid each day. PS Hempure is no longer available, however a similar product is Hemp Bliss from Manitoba Harvest.

  • I am a 79 year old woman. My son lives with me but isn't a very good cook. My diet consists of tinned soup, eggs and quiche from M@Ms oh yes and yogurt. I feel that "Holy Crap" would certainty be an asset to my diet.
The only problem is that I can't find it in the Midland and Penetang area.
Will it be coming to this area?
Your presentation on the Dragons was excellent. I am so happy for you.
